Tara and Adam chose to have their lovely ceremony under a grove of trees in the Roma St Parklands. The bonus of this venue was that Tara was able to include her adorable dog Lucy in the proceedings! It also made a great location for some photo fun afterwards before heading to a few other city locations nearby.

We then returned to the Urban Hotel’s 10th floor Panorama room for the reception. With an amazing sweeping view of the Brisbane skyline, I couldn’t think of a better place to have a  new years eve reception while also having a great vantage point to watch the fireworks at the end of the night.

This is the wedding of Katrina & Paul who were recently married at Marymac church Annerley with their reception held at the emporium hotel.

Once again the weather was not particularly kind to Katrina and Paul’s big day, but a fun time was still had by all.

Their day was a little bit different in that the morning started with their lovely ceremony held by the lake at the Royal Pines resort. We then headed inside the resort for the lunchtime reception.

After the fun of the reception was over we then headed off for some photos before finishing the day with a Traditional Tea ceremony for Steven’s side of the family.

The whole day was a lot of fun and we even managed to dodge all of the nasty weather (Yay!!)

Following the ceremony Grace ducked upstairs for a makeup touch up, which gave me the chance to grab some quick bridal shots

The lush vines provided the perfect backdrop for Skye and Mike to say their vows. They also provided a great place to have fun afterwards while taking photos.

Everyone then made their way up to the Barrel room set in the cellar, for the reception.

It was a perfect day for a beautiful beachside wedding ceremony. Brooke & Cameron exchange vows under the pandanus trees overlooking the ocean in a lovely ceremony.

We then went to a few of North Stradebroke’s spectacular beaches and lookouts for photos before heading to the reception held at the Stradebroke Isalnd Beach Hotel.

I could just tell from the start of the day that they were both very excited that the day had come and were looking forward to tying the knot in front of close friends and family. They chose the magnificent Cathedral of St Stephen in the city to exchange their vows. We then went to a few of their favourite places in the New Farm area that they love to call home.

We got back to the Stamford Plaza for the reception just in time, before a storm came rolling in. Providing a great lightning display over the river and Story bridge as a backdrop to the reception festivities.

And what better place to have a relaxed wedding with close friends and family hey? And that is just what Andrea and Jon thought when they decided to have their wedding  by the beach at Noosa.

Both Andrea and Jon now call Wagga Wagga in NSW home, but have a close attachment to the sun and surf of the sunshine state, so it made perfect sense to have their special day up here.

The ceremony took place in the Groves behind Noosa Beach.Following which, the guests were treated to a relaxing Noosa river cruise while  the bridal party went off and explored the many great beaches and coves for photos.

Every body then met up for a great reception at Trios on the River at the Noosa Marina.

Some Reception Details:

First up is the wedding of Shannon and Chris. Both Shannon and Chris have fun personalities with infectious smiles and there were a lot of laughs to be had throughout the day.

They were married at St Joseph’s College on Gregory Terrace, following that, we had a bit of fun at some locations around town before making our way to The Pavilion at Allan Border field for a spot of cricket and then the reception.

In a slight departure from tradition, Shannon also had two male attendants (who did their jobs superbly)

The wedding was for the lovely Eleanor and Darren, who were married on the banks of the Brisbane river at the Toowong Rowing Club. The afternoon sunshine and the many blooming Jacaranda trees provided the perfect backdrop after that for the location photography.

Both the ceremony and reception had many fabulous details in keeping with the vintage theme that Eleanor and Darren has planned. Thanks guys for allowing me to photograph your day.

The day started wet and windy as I photographed the girls who were getting ready at Mantra Circle on Cavill down at the Gold Coast. But the atmosphere in the room was warm and calm and I could see that Blaise was not going to let any sort of weather affect her day.

It was then off to O’Reilly’s at Canungra Valley for the ceremony. We then ducked out into the vineyards for some umbrella fun. Then got warm and cosy in the homestead listening to the live music that Damon had arranged.

Miraculously, the weather cleared in time for us to venture out into the vineyards again without the umbrellas before we made our way into the reception.
