Kerrie + Isaac

I love when I get the chance to shoot the wedding of  friends of my previous couples. On this occasion I photographed the wedding of Kerrie and Isaac, good friends of Victoria and Michael whose wedding I photographed quite a few years ago.

You can tell just by chatting to them that Kerrie and Isaac have a powerful bond between them and it was a privilege to capture that bond on their special day.

Their wedding ceremony was held at the stately Old Government House . The Old Government House has recently undergone renovation and looked amazing. The beautiful afternoon light coming through the old windows added to the special atmosphere of the ceremony.

Following the ceremony we explored the building and surrounds further before heading to the reception held at Urban Hotel in Springhill. The cocktail style reception on the top floor had a spectacular view of the city and the setting sun and a great night ensued.

I thought this was funny, I get to the second story balcony for the group photo and look down upon….. a map of Australia!!???

I Love their combined signature!

SneekPeek – Amanda & Matt

This is a special sneekpeek post for Amanda and Matt’s wedding last weekend. I know Amanda is VERY keen to see a picture from the day. So without further ado, here it is. More Images to follow soon!

Belinda + Stephen | Brisbane Wedding Photographer

Belinda & Stephen are the type of people you want in your corner. Once you are friends with them you are friends for life ~ evidenced by the Maid of Honor travelling around the world to be in their bridal party or one of the most heartfelt best man speeches I have ever heard or just the welcoming loving feel of the day.

The ceremony was held at St Stephen’s Cathedral with the reception at Customs House. Location photos were held in and around the city emphasizing who Belinda and Stephen are.

Belinda and Stephen have now gone off on a 4 month honeymoon through Europe and we truly hope you have a fantastic time.

Stephanie + Andrew | Brisbane Wedding Photographer

Stephanie & Andrew were recently married down at the Gold Coast. Their intimate ceremony was held in the chapel at the Royal Pines Resort. It was a lovely ceremony made even more special by the fact that Andrew’s dad was the celebrant.

Following the ceremony we explored around the resort before making our way to the beach for some more fun. The afternoon light was spectacular that day and we all had an awesome time.

We then made our way to the Southport Yacht Club for the reception festivities.

Stephanie’s Grandmother helped with the dress.

I love when parents are involved in the ceremony

Brooke & Joshua

Brooke & Josh were recently married at the beautiful Nudgee College Chapel. The day started with lots of rain. But fortunately stopped following the ceremony and  the location shoot, thank you Mother Nature!

Brooke is a dressmaker and made her own gown, the bridesmaids & the flowergirl’s dress – the flowergirl’s dress alone took days and days with 17 meters of tulle so I daren’t ask how long her gorgeous wedding dress took. Brooke did a magnificent job though as everybody looked wonderful.

Josh, whilst he didn’t make his own suit, he did send Brooke on a hunt for pink socks for all the boys, it was great having some color “pop” out every now and then when least expecting it!

As you can probably tell from the images, Brooke and Josh have fun, vibrant personalities and it was great capturing their enjoyment of the big day.

A special thanks to Kate Beuchner for her fantastic help on the day.  Kate, you rocked it!
