Amanda + Steven

I recently photographed the wedding of Amanda & Steven. Their ceremony was at Our lady of the sacred heart at Darra. This quaint little local church had heaps of character and you could see was special for both Amanda and Steven and their family. The reception was held at Bundaleer Rainforest Gardens. We spent some time around the grounds getting some photos, before heading into the warmth of the marque for the reception.

Steven was in charge of organizing cars for the day and picked up a very sweet Chrysler 300C Hemi for himself and the boys to drive to the ceremony..

James & Stephanie

Getting a wee bit slack in my blogging lately.. But better late than never as they say..

James and Stephanie were married recently at St Mary’s Church at Kangaroo point. This old church is is set high atop the Kangaroo point cliffs and has a spectacular view of the city and the river. It was a very fitting place for Stephanie and James to tie the knot amongst close friends and family. Following the lovely ceremony everyone gathered on the lawn outside for a yummy afternoon tea. We then headed off for some photos along the river before heading back into the city for the reception held at the beautifully decorated Rugby club.

Ann & Rob = A special kind of Love

Now that End of Financial Year is over I have decided to write a few of the blog posts as Steve keeps writing them all himself! I have actually been writing this blog post in my head for over a week, how much is too much to write but still enough to explain these two special people?

Firstly Ann, Ann is one of four gorgeous girls in a family that we have been associated with for a quite some time. We have been privileged enough to capture the weddings of three of the four sisters. Firstly there was Laura & Keith back in 2006 and then Dianne & John at Palm Cove in 2007. And now Ann & Rob. We did joke on the day that the family should just put us on the payroll as the official family photographers. This family is always warm and welcoming and always fun to photograph

Now Rob, Rob is a pretty quiet unassuming guy who just gets on with the task at hand, a gentle soul who just plainly loves his girl (& she loves him back!)

Ann & Rob booked us a while back for their wedding but then tragedy hit the family and they became carers for Rob’s 16 month old sister, the adorably cute Tilly.

Ann & Rob changed their wedding plans to a small occasion to just celebrate the day as the budget had to be moved to welcome with open arms a new young family member who needed a whole new “trousseou and associated furniture”. Ann & Rob tried to keep it simple but all their pesky friends and family wouldn’t allow that! Cakes were made, Bonboniere’s found and just the little things that make a Wedding special were given to Ann & Rob without a second thought. I believe this goes to show how awesome Ann & Rob are.

The heartwarming ceremony was held at the Chapel of All Hallows School followed by some photo fun at the grounds and at Kangaroo point. The Reception was held at the Southbank Tafe training restaurant.

Ann & Rob thank you for allowing us to be a part of your special day and congratulations on becoming a new beautiful family of three.
