Kate & John

I recently had the pleasure of photographing Kate & John’s wedding down at the gold coast.

The ceremony and reception were held at the lovely Colonial Golf Club at Robina. In between we popped over to Burleigh headland. Kate and John had a really cool, beautifully restored VW Kombi for their transport throughout the day so that made for some fun beachside photos. We then raced back to the colonial for some golf cart action on the course before making our way into the reception.

Kate has an identical sister Rebecca! It was a little confusing at the start of the day, but once Kate was in her dress it was a whole lot easier for me to tell them apart :)

Sally + Nick

Another fun wedding that I photographed recently was Sally and Nick’s. They were married in a beautiful ceremony at Indooroopilly golf club.

We then had a lot of fun playing around on the golf carts and driving all over the course for photos. Sally and Nick also had use of a friend’s classic vintage car (complete with a set of vintage golf clubs!) which made for some great photos too.

It was then back to the club house to start the reception festivities.

Sharon + BJ

It was a lot of fun shooting Sharon and Bj’s wedding recently. Both Sharon and BJ have bright warm personalities which compliment each other so well. There wasn’t a moment in the day where I didn’t see both of them without huge smiles on their faces. Especially when they were together, enjoying  their special day.

Happy Wedding Anniversary

I just wanted to post a quick little message to my beautiful wife. Wishing her a very happy wedding anniversary for today.

Four years has really flown by and I feel so lucky to have you and our 2 little mischief makers in my life.

All my love.

Belinda+Peter

I recently traveled down to the Gold Coast to photograph the wedding of Belinda & Peter. Belinda was a bridesmaid for Susanna and Gordon last year so it was great to see her again on her special day.

The ceremony took place in the glass enclosed Santuary Cove Chapel. We then explored the ground of Sanctuary Cove before jumping in some golf carts and hitting the golf course for some fun.

The reception was then held at the nearby Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country club. We spent a few quick minutes getting some more romantic night shots and then the reception festivities began.

Shirley + Jamie

I photographed Shirley & Jamie’s wedding recently. The weather at the start of the day was a bit ominous with big dark clouds and high winds, but Shirley was very calm and was just looking forward to seeing Jamie.

As is often the case, the weather cleared before the lovely ceremony and stayed that way throughout our city location shoot afterwards. It was only just as we were taking the last shots in the evening twilight that the heavens opened up again. This was followed by a quick dash to the limo and we were off to the reception held at the Grand Chancellor .

O’Brien family shoot

Recently I met up again with the O’Brien family for a family portrait session. I say again because I have had the pleasure of meeting up with this lovely family quite a few times in recent years. Notably to capture the weddings of two of their sons. Brett (and the lovely Rachel) and more recently Jarrod (and the also lovely Tenille).

After we had photographed all the adults it was then the adorable Stephanie & Courtney’s turn to have some fun in the garden with their fairy outfits.
