Katie + Brent

The wedding of Katie & Brent up at Dayboro was a pleasure to capture.

Katie and the girls got ready in a cute little cottage set amongst the Lavender  at Blue Ridge Lavender Farm.

Everything else was held at one of my favourite places, Glengariff winery up at Dayboro. The valley below provided a lovely backdrop for the ceremony. We then explored the surrounds in the afternoon light before heading back up the hill for the reception.

Chloe + Les

I really enjoyed photographing the wedding of Chloe & Les last weekend. Both Chloe & Les have a warm vibrant personality and it was a pleasure capturing them as they enjoyed their special day.

The ceremony took place at Hillstone. Following the ceremony we headed over to the St Lucia Uni campus for some photo fun. We then made our way back to Hillstone for the reception.

Chant Family Shoot

I traveled down to Northern NSW  recently for a family shoot for the Chant family. It was a bit of a reunion for me as I had met most of the family previously at their daughter Lisa’s wedding. Lisa & Darren were one of my lovely couples from early last year and it was great to catchup with them and the family again.

We did the session on the beach and also around the grounds of the very nice Mantra on Salt Kingscliff.

Emily + David

Last weekend was the wedding of the very warm and friendly Emily & David.

The girls got ready at the Marriott. Emily had a gorgeous dress and a very stylish bridcage veil which was a lot of fun to photograph.

The laughter filled ceremony was held at St Andrew’s in South Brisbane. The bridal party then hopped into the vintage Jags for a quick little photo location tour around town.

We then headed to the reception which was also held at the Marriott.

Pre-wedding shoot: Robyn & Cuong

Recently I did a pre wedding shoot with Robyn & Cuong who are getting married later this month. The shoot was done down at Wynumm Pier and was quite fun and challenging as the weather kept changing from bright sunshine to quick rain showers! :)

But a fun time was had by all and we got some great shots.

There were plenty of rainbows throughout the session.

I loved how the afternoon light was catching the rain drops during one of the sun showers.

Kari + Scott

I recently photographed the wedding of the lovely Kari And Scott.

Their ceremony was held on the roof of the Powerhouse museum. Which provided a unique view onto the Brisbane river. Following the ceremony we walked around New Farm park and the Powerhouse surrounds. As a bit of a rare treat we were allowed to go into the powerhouse museum itself and explore the funky interior.

It was then back to the roof top for the reception held in a very funkily graffitied space.

Rhody played his Guitar as Kari walked down the aisle.

Elizabeth + Mark

I recently had the pleasure of photographing the lovely Elizabeth and Mark’s wedding day.

They had a relaxed vintage theme with the ceremony being held under the Newstead park rotunda. We spent time walking around the park afterwards before heading to the Woolstore for a few more photos.

Then it was off to the cocktail reception in the Cellar of the Queens Arms Hotel in Teneriffe.

The Guys lit up some Cuban cigars to celebrate.

While the girls preferred to stay away from all the smoke and chat :)
