Tracie + Brendon

I definitely don’t photograph too many Tuesday weddings, but that is exactly what I did last Tuesday.

Tuesday the 17th of March held special meaning for Tracie & Brendon. That was the day 3 years ago that they first met, while celebrating St Patricks day. And since that day they have been pretty much inseperable.

So it was quite fitting that they chose that exact date to exchange their wedding vows.

Tracie looked stunning in a gorgeous coloured wedding gown. (And Brendon looked pretty daper himself).

The ceremony and reception were held at the beautiful Indooroopilly Golf Club. Following the ceremony we took off on the golf buggies and explored the grounds. Then it was back for the lovely reception.

Congratulations guys!

Both Brendon & Tracie are serious gamers, so it was no surprise what the guys were doing to relax before the big event.

I loved Tracie’s Facinator

Paul + Jaime

This wedding was a little bit more personal for me.

Paul is a long time great friend of mine. We used to spend many a Friday night in the Valley playing pool, drinking pints and eating at some questionable chinese restaurants.

It’s very rare that as a wedding photographer we get to see the beginning of the relationship of the couples that we photograph, but that is the case with Paul & Jaime. I have seen their love blosom and mature over the years and I was extremely happy and honoured to capture their special day.

Their wedding was held on the grounds of Gainsborough Greens golf course. Following the touching ceremony we headed out onto the greens for some golf cart fun and to chase all the great light filtering through the trees.

The reception was lots of fun too and a nice little bonus for me, was that my wife and baby Ryan were there too. So I could give my cute little man a little cuddle between the action.

All the best for the future guys! I know that our Pool playing Friday nights are now behind us Paul, but I am sure that our respective beautiful wives will still let us hang out and play. :)

I was the unofficial 2nd best man! :)

Ashisha + Thomas

Following on from Ashisha & Thomas’ recent e-session, was their fabulous wedding. It was an awesome day and so much fun to shoot. I especially loved capturing all the traditions and details throughout the day.

The ceremony was held at Christ Church St Lucia. We then went into the city for some location shoot fun. Following a quick dress change we had a bit more fun in the city before heading to the lavish reception at Hillstone St Lucia.

The traditions and festivities then continued well into the night and a grand time was had by all.

I hope you enjoy the images.

ps. Thanks to Dean for being my excellent 2nd shooter/video light extraordinaire!

I really love this one..

This is one of Dean’s great shots.

We ducked into the Stamford Plaza for a quick change into the reception outfits

Jessica + Jason

Last Friday I finally got to shoot Jessica & Jason’s wedding. I say finally because I have been really looking forward to photographing their big day for a while now.

Ever since Jason (a self confessed car enthusiast) told me about the cars he planned to have at the wedding. :)   I have a definite soft spot for classic cars and we spent quite bit of time during the engagement shoot a few months back chatting about our respective loves (cars)

Despite the cool cars though I was also looking forward to spending more time with Jessica and Jason. Both are super nice fun loving people with a love of the funky and quirky. And being that they didn’t have a bridal party, we got to have quite a deal of fun doing some cool/quirky shots.

Thanks Jessica & Jason for letting me be part of your day I had a great time.

#######Warning!!!!………This blog entry contains Gratuitous car shots……you have been warned!….#####

Jessica arrived at the church in this cute little Citroen 2CV

Loved Jason’s shoes

I really like this image, straight out of camera..

We then headed into the city for a yummy High Tea reception at the Stamford Plaza. Afterwards we headed out into the park for some more fun.

eShoot – Ashisha + Thomas

Another e-shoot for your viewing pleasure. Ashisha & Thomas are actually getting married this weekend, but before the big day we did a fun e-shoot out at St Lucia.

Baby Shoot – Riley

On the weekend we caught up again with one of our past awesome wedding couples Natalie & Gareth.

Its always great to catch up with past clients and see what they have been up to. In Natalie & Gareth’s case they have been up to a lot! :) They now have a gorgeous baby boy named Riley! It was heaps of fun spending the morning with the happy little family of 3.

Hasn’t he got the most gorgeous big blue eyes

The staring match with yellow duck continues…

e-Shoot: Melissa & Peter
