On Saturday I was off to the gold coast to photograph the wedding of Katie & Farren at Avica resort.

It was actually the first and probably only time that I will shoot a wedding at Avica resort… Not because it isn’t a great venue with a lovely chapel and manucured grounds.. but due to the sad fact that they are shutting their doors at the end of this year.

But at least Katie and Farren got to enjoy all the resort had to offer on their special day.

I did like Farren’s wedding gift to himself:

I loved Katie’s shoes, the lace detail matched perfectly to her dress

Both Katie and Farren arrived to the ceremony in style..

After the ceremony, I took Katie and Farren back into the chapel as I had seen this beautiful shaft of afternoon light streaming in through the door:

In between the Entree’s and Mains, we ducked out for a quick 5 minute night shoot:
