Amy + Graeme

Saturday was an awesome day for a beach wedding. Perfect blue sky, light sea breeze and two very much in love people. What more could you ask for!?

The lovely beachside ceremony was held on the grass at Caloundra’s Dickie beach, afterwards we headed to Happy Valley for some fun beach shots in the yummy afternoon light and then took in the sunset before strolling over to Tides waterfront restaurant for the reception.

Excellent day had by all. I hope you enjoy the images:

I loved the detail on Amy’s dress

How cool are Graeme’s cuff links!!

The girls from Amy’s dance class threw rose petals as she walked down the aisle.

Dimity Maternity Shoot

Yesterday we did a maternity session with Dimity, Luke, Meg and ‘Crumpet’ (Crumpet is the affectionate name they have given to soon to be born bub). Being pregnant is a really special time in a woman’s life and I feel honored to be asked to capture it by Dimity & Luke.

I hope you enjoy the images:

Can’t wait to meet little crumpet.

Julie + Russell

Yesterday’s wedding was a little different for me. Most of my clients get married probably after knowing each other for just a few years. Julie & Russell have been together for a lot longer than that, but chose yesterday to formalize things in a ceremony in the formal gardens of southbank.

There was a short (***cough***30 minutes!!*****cough..) delay to the start of the ceremony (I heard someone joke that Russell had made Julie wait for many years, so Julie was entitled to let Russell stew for a mere 30 mins) ;)

But things after that little hiccup went swimmingly for the rest of the afternoon and well into the evening.

It was great to see Julie and the girls finally round that corner and come down the arbour

Russell most appreciative of Julie’s brother to eventually walk her down the aisle :)

A sweet moment during the ceremony:

Julie’s gorgeous two daughters were the bridesmaids

Alisa + David

It was quite a happy coincidence that I happened to have two weddings on the weekend at the same location!

Yes that’s right, on Sunday I headed back to the wonderful GlenGarriff Estate to shoot the wedding of Alisa & David. We started the day at Alisa’s parents house for bride preparations before heading to GlenGarrriff to shoot David and the ‘Boys’. David doesn’t mind doing things a little differently and this showed in his selection of a Groomswoman as well as the traditional groomsmen.

The ceremony went off without a hitch and we then spent the afternoon having fun before heading inside for the reception.

Hope you like the images.

Tenille + Jarrod

Saturday was a gorgeous spring day, lots of sunshine and blue skies. Perfect weather to head to the country to shoot the wedding of Tenille & Jarrod at Glengariff Estate up in Dayboro.

After the lovely ceremony we explored the grounds of Glengariff and soaked up the amazing afternoon light.

It was a pleasure being part of your day Tenille and Jarrod and I hope you love the images:

Thanks

Debbie :)

Alicia + Luke

Yesterday was a special day for two reasons – firstly Happy belated Birthday Steve!!! As any wedding photographer can tell you having to work your own birthday is part and parcel of the job (although the rules are different for our daughter’s Birthday!)

The second special reason was the wedding of Luke & Alicia at Mt Tamborine Hilltop Chapel followed by a reception at Heritage Wines.

Alicia and Luke were referred to us by a prior couple Lauren & Shane who are in our Featured Wedding part of our website – although they are now Lauren, Shane & Ryan!

Alicia was great fun to deal with in the lead up to her big day and when we got the email in the lead up to “take them cross country and do anything to get the shot – PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE” we were very happy to oblige. Alicia and Luke didn’t bat an eye when we suggest they lay in fields, troop through rainforests & finishing it off at “handglider point” in the FREEZING WIND.

Alicia and Luke it was an honour to be a part of your day and enjoy your honeymoon in New Zealand & to Lauren who I know is waiting kind of patiently for this blog post :) I will post one of those pictures for you during the week!
