Angela + Dane

Yesterday I travelled down to the Gold Coast to shoot the wedding of Angela & Dane. They met back when they were teenagers (childhood sweethearts…awwhhh..) and it was great to see them tie the knot amongst their great bunch of friends and family.

The ceremony was held in the chapel on the grounds of the Crowne Plaza Surfers Paradise. After some quick family photos we headed to the Gold Coast Botanical gardens for some location shoot fun with the bridal party. We had enough time for a quick play on the beach with a gorgeous post sunset sky before heading to the reception.

All the best for the future Angela & Dane and enjoy the images.

The gorgeous Angela:

And the equally gorgeous Dane (in a manly type of way of course)  :)

Jessica + Jason eshoot

Now I don’t usually post too many eshoot session, but Jessica & Jason metioned that they loved some of my quirky/creative shots so I thought I would treat them to a few sneaky peaks. (plus the fact that I loved Jason’s mini :) )

Sonia + Shane

Yesterday I traveled to Maleny to shoot the wedding of Sonia & Shane.

Both the ceremony and reception were held at the lovely Maleny Manor. Which is always fun to shoot at as there are so many gorgeous places to shoot around the manor and grounds.

I had a great time and I hope you enjoy the images.

Melissa + John

I had my first Tuesday wedding yesterday (now I think I have shot a wedding on every day of the week! :) )

John is in the army and has recently been posted to Darwin, so on the spur of the moment they pushed their wedding plans forward and organised for a nice and simple marriage at the registry office on George St.

There were quite a few tears during the ceremony from Melissa, but surprisingly most were from laughter!

We then headed to the park for a stroll before making our way to Vino’s Restaurant for the reception.

Nova + Billy

I love weddings and ceremonies that are a little bit different. And Nova & Billy’s Scottish wedding was just that. There were many of the Scottish traditions followed such as kilts, bagpipes and sporrans (but interspersed among the formal traditions was the music of Oasis, Robbie Williams and even Tina Turner!!)

Nova & Billy’s ceremony was held at the lovely glass chapel at Sanctuary Cove. This was followed by the reception at Links Hope Island .

Thanks for the fun afternoon Nova & Billy and I hope you enjoy the below images.

Kristy + Brett

In Chinese numerology, the number eight is considered to be especially lucky.

So you can imagine how much luck is being thrown your way when you get married on the 08-08-08 !!!

That’s exactly what Kristy and Brett must have thought when they tied the knot on Friday the 08-08-08 at Hillstone St Lucia. Although I am sure this warm and loving couple won’t need too much luck to have an amazing life together.

Well done guys, I hope you had a great day.

Grace + Damian

Yesterday I shot the wedding of two very much in love people: Grace & Damian.

They held their ceremony at the heritage listed and beautiful Our Lady of Victory church in Bowen Hills. After their sweet ceremony we explored some of the unique features of this beautiful church before heading to the Riparian Plaza building for a rather exclusive shoot…

Through her work contacts, Grace organised for access to not just the Riparian Plaza courtyard but also access to the 39th floor and the amazing views that it provides.

I love the Riparian plaza, but due to tight security it is often impossible to make use of the wonderful architecture as a backdrop for wedding photography. But with Grace’s access pass, I was like a kid in a candy store. Just loving all the possibilities. :)

We then strolled through the Brisbane Botanical Gardens to find some yummy afternoon light before heading to the reception at Royal on the Park.

Thanks for allowing me to capture your day Grace and Damian, I hope you enjoy the images.
