Claire & Mark ~ Saturday 29th March

Yesterday was about details, from the lovely decorated Newstead Park, to the spectacular decoration in the reception room at Gianni’s Port Side & everything in between.

Claire & Mark outshone themselves with a River Cruise for the guests following the ceremony to very cool guest gifts (personalised snow globes for the ladies & stubby coolers for the men). The Guest book was one of our personalised books from the engagement shoot & was a huge hit.

Much love to both of you and thanks for a very fun day.

Trash the Dress (TTD) ~ Louise & Dan (Part 2)

We promised and here it is.

The 4 of us went to Caloundra after being deep in the forest and I have to say that 4 became 40+ very quickly! We had a LOT of people watching what we were up to and even more people concerned that the Louise was going to get wet being so close to the water! Luckily Lou had her mum & dad along to explain the process to the many many people who were watching.

After we finished at the beach we all got in the cars and headed around to the Baths at Kings Beach, we had the whole surf club watching us for this one…

Trash the Dress (TTD) ~ Louise & Dan (Part 1)

Yesterday we went out and got some shots with Louise & Dan who were married in December. We started off in the forrest and got so caught up in the yummy light that we almost forgot to leave enough time to get to the water!

We had fun doing these shots and enjoyed spending the afternoon with Dan & Louise who were troopers through all our ideas. Big thanks to Louise who organised professional hair & make up for Easter Sunday!

Richard & Kate ~ Thursday 20th March

March 21, 2008 – 2:23 am

This one was a bit different for us (we like different :) ) in that Richard and Kate had a lovely ceremony at 7:00pm on Broadbeach at the Gold Coast. Followed by a cocktail reception at the magnificent Royal Pines Golf Course. As it is Easter these guys didn’t have the traditional cake they had a massive Chocolate Fountain…. mmmmmmm

Kate & Richard, I think Steve captured some lovely shots and here is a peek at some of them.

Amber & Adrian ~ March 15th

This weekend we had the wedding of Amber & Adrian who were married at the Victoria Park Golf Course.

Amber prepared herself for the day ahead at the wonderful Treasury Hotel. We would like to thank Katie for calling us to remind us to leave time to get into the city around the St Patty’s Day Parade!

I am sure in this shot I am meant to look at the pretty clouds…. but there are gorgeous shoes there so I’m looking at them!

Lisa & Darren ~ Saturday 8th March

Lisa & Darren were married yesterday in a lovely ceremony at St Ignatiaus church Toowong with their reception following at the beautiful Hillstone St Lucia

Lisa was beautiful in an absolutely cool dress, while Darren scrubbed up okay as well :)

Many thanks also to Jared & Nathan of Bell Productions who were the videographers on the day and great fun to work with (and thanks for picking up Steve’s tripod that he left at Hillstone last night!)

Thanks Lisa & Darren for indulging Steve in his love of night shoots, I think some great images were captured. Hope you love them!

Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP) Members

March 5, 2008 – 10:10 am

We have been wanting to join the AIPP for a while, but just never seemed to get around to it. We have now been approved as Full members to the AIPP :) With much love and thanks to the wonderfully talented Kate & Chris of Uber Photography for their help & support.

So in the next few days you will see the AIPP logo pop up on our website and also start to show up on our new brochures/ contracts etc.

And as a special treat as we have had a wonderful few weeks off to prepare for wedding season starting this weekend so no wedding photos to add, so here is a picture of our beautiful gorgeous daughter Georgia.
